StarWitness is now offering video cloud storage​ by iCrimeFighter.  Easily store, manage, retrieve, and share video evidence internally or externally in real time. CLOUDSCAPE is a great time saver. What could take days to obtain video evidence files and deliver them by CD or thumb drive, can now be as fast as accessing the cloud.
By uploading video evidence files quickly, your investigators have access to critical information and can react in near real time.  When witnesses send texts, emails, links, photos, or video, quickly drag the evidence into the cloud.  Experts can then access the files without consuming valuable hard-drive space.

​StarWitness Interviewer Version 2.5 Release

CARY, North Carolina — August 31, 2023 — Signalscape™, a leader in public safety and government technologies, announces the release of its StarWitness Interviewer Version 2.5.  This latest Interview Room solution release allows you to store evidence to various cloud providers and improves authentication.  It also provides additional feedback when you export evidence and supports the latest StarWitness Field Interviewer HD product.  Here's a summary of what's new:

• Integrations with AXON Evidence.com and Microsoft OneDrive/SharePoint  - Interviewer has been updated to enable users to upload recordings directly to AXON Evidence.com and Microsoft OneDrive/SharePoint.   Future versions will have additional cloud-based Digital Evidence Management Systems (DEMS) integrations.   See the user guide for instructions on configuring the integrations.
• Improved DVD export dialog  - The improved DVD export dialog enables using external DVD drives with Interviewer and selecting the write speed. 
• Improved authentication code validation dialog - The result indicator on the authentication code validation dialog now displays a green check mark if an authentication code is valid.   Previous versions displayed a confusing warning indicator.
• Improved feedback when exporting recordings to DVD and removeable media - The application now provides more helpful information during export operation such invalid type of DVD inserted or removeable media that is not formatted correctly.   
• Display time zone of a recording - The user interface has been updated to display the time zone of recordings.   Note that the time and time zone are relative to computer local time.
• Support for latest Field Interviewer HD Interviewer -  has been updated to support importing recordings from StarWitness Field Interviewer HD devices with the latest firmware update.
• Signed download package - The download package has been signed with an Extended Validation (EV) code signing certificate to enable installation on systems where unsigned applications are restricted by security policy.
