StarWitness Announces the Release of Interviewer Version 1.6

​StarWitnessSM is pleased to announce the release of Interviewer 1.6.  This software update brings new security features, account management tools, audit trail functionality, and other user-requested updates.   We are excited to add these enhancements to our powerful, reliable, and easy-to-use interview recording system.

StarWitness Interviewer customers can now create user accounts that protect against unauthorized access. Robust security features allow approved users the ability to control and protect the integrity of their interviews. According to Sam Burgiss, Director of Products, “these enhancements provide multiple security levels to ensure that the right people have access to the right information”.

From recording to production of master evidence, the StarWitness interview management software provides a verifiable chain of custody. Each interview is logged and tagged with an owner which allows internal affairs and/or the judicial system to easily analyze and verify the chain of evidence.
 
This release also improves DVD burning and offers minor fixes and improvements.
